  • 500 Gram Chicken
  • 2 Tablespoon Coconut or Sunflower Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 8 Piece Curry Leaves
  • 2 Piece Onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Piece Green Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1.5 Tablespoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Coriander
  • Salt
  • Lemon Juice

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to it. Wait for the seeds to splutter.

Step 2

Add in the curry leaves and saute sliced onions. Cook until its golden brown.

Step 3

Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Cook it properly.

Step 4

Add turmeric, cumin, and coriander powder. Mix all the spices well for about a minute.

Step 5

Add the chicken pieces and salt to the pan. Coat the pieces properly with the masala.

Step 6

Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes. Keep on stirring it occasionally.

Step 7

Once the chicken is cooked properly and has become tender, add the freshly ground black pepper to it. Saute on high flame for about 5 minutes.

Step 8

Turn off the heat and garnish the dish with coriander leaves. Add little lemon juice and enjoy.
