1)Meta introduces new security tools for teen Facebook and Instagram users.

The parent company of Facebook and Instagram, Meta, is introducing new tools to safeguard teenagers' privacy on its services. Teen users will automatically be placed in more private settings on these platforms when they are 16 or 18, depending on the local regulations.

2)Taiwan claims there is less Chinese interference before elections.

Taiwan has charged China, which regards the island's democratically run government as its own, with repeatedly attempting to influence the outcome of its elections.According to Taiwan's Foreign Minister Joseph Wu on Wednesday, China is exerting less influence on Taiwan ahead of its local elections, potentially as a result of China's own internal issues and efforts to enhance its worldwide reputation.

3)PM Deuba elected for the seventh time in a row from his home district Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba was elected on Wednesday with a sizable majority of votes His Nepali Congress party is currently leading the election results with 11 seats won. On Sunday, candidates for the House of Representatives (HoR) and seven provincial assemblies ran for office. Beginning on Monday, votes began to be counted.

4)Twin explosions jolt Jerusalem, leaving 1 killed and at least 14 injured.

On Wednesday, two explosives at bus stops in Jerusalem claimed one life and injured at least 14 others, according to the police, who suspect Palestine attackers. On the outskirts of the city, close to a bus stop where commuters frequently congregate while waiting for buses, the first explosion happened.

1)CV Ananda Bose Takes Oath As West Bengal Governor

CV Ananda Bose on Wednesday took oath as the new governor of West Bengal. He was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court Prakash Shrivastava in the presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, other state ministers and Speaker Biman Banerjee at a programme in the Raj Bhavan. 

2)In 2020, Shraddha complained to the police, claiming that Aaftab had threatened to chop her.

Shraddha Walkar, who was allegedly killed by her partner Aaftab Poonawala in May and had her body chopped and scattered throughout south Delhi, reported the incident to police in Mumbai in November 2020, claiming that Poonawala had threatened to do the same to her and have her body chopped.

3)TADA Court Issues Production Warrant Against Yasin Malik

The TADA court on Wednesday issued a production warrant for Yasin Malik in the Indian Air Force official killing case, said CBI lawyer Monika Kohli adding that the next date of hearing is set for December 22.

4)One More Arrested In Connection With Recovery Of Explosives In Mizoram: NIA

The National Investigation Agency has arrested one more person in connection with the recovery of more than 2,400 kg of explosives meant for a Myanmar-based group fighting against the government, an official said.The NIA said the case pertains to the recovery of 2,421 kg of explosives, 1,000 detonators, 4,500 metres of detonating fuse wire, cash Rs 73,500, over 9.35 lakh Myanmar kyat from a vehicle at Tipa.

In the first trades, the S&P BSE Sensex reached a high of 61,781 before closing 92 points higher at 61,511. The NSE closed its doors at 18,267, up 23 points. SBI, Bajaj Finance, and Dr.each Reddy's ended the day with gains of more than 1% among the Sensex 30 shares. On the other hand, PowerGrid Corporation saw a decline of more than 1%. Aside from that, Adani Enterprises had a loss of over 3% in the Nifty 50 after the business announced that its board would meet on November 25 to discuss capital raising possibilities.
