Today we have award-winning Kathak dancer & choreographer, Geetanjali Lal who is a renowned artist from Agra Gharana & Jaipur Gharana. She began formal training in Kathak dance at the early age of 6, under the distinguished Kathak danseuse Roshan Kumari. She held the post of Chief of Repertory and Director of Kathak Kendra from 2009-2012. She is a top-grade artist of Doordarshan and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi.
