Bloomberg reports that China has experienced its first negative foreign investments since 1998, with a $11.8 billion decline in the third quarter in direct investment liabilities, a key indicator of foreign direct investment (FDI), as stated by the country's foreign exchange administration. The decrease in FDI is attributed to reduced enthusiasm among foreign companies to reinvest their profits earned in China.
