AIADMK staged a hunger strike in Coimbatore against issues including hike, power tariff hike, inflation and other issues in the state.

Scores of AIADMK members took part in the strike. The LoP and party's interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami was also part of the hunger strike

The strike was held in AIADMK's stronghold Coimbatore on Friday

Addressing the AIADMK supporters during the protest, EPS said that even if 100 Stalin's come AIADMK's growth cannot be stopped

The AIADMK supporters from Tiruppur, Salem, Erode and neighbouring districts also took part in the protest
