On September 11, 2001,a hijacked commercial plane crashed into the World Trade Center in New York. Today marks the 19th anniversary of the attack which is considered as one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in the world. World Trade Center was a large complex of seven buildings in the Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States. The hijackers affiliated to the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda crashed the two Boeing 767 planes onto the building destroying both the North and South Towers which completely collapsed. file photo shows smoke billowing up after the first of the two towers of the World Trade Center collapses in New York City.
