On September 11, 2001,a hijacked commercial plane crashed into the World Trade Center in New York. Today marks the 19th anniversary of the attack which is considered as one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in the world. World Trade Center was a large complex of seven buildings in the Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States. The "Tribute in Light" memorial consisting of two shafts of light to represent the World Trade Center Twin Towers is lit 11 March, 2002, in New York on the six month anniversary of the terrorist attack that destroyed the towers. A new he knew World Trade Center complex has been constructed at the site which includes a museum and memorial, and a transportation hub building that is similar in size to Grand Central Terminal.
