Actor Vaishnavi Gowda, a familiar face in Kannada television thanks to her roles in Devi and Seetharama, got engaged to Indian Air Force officer Anukool Mishra in Bengaluru on Monday.

Taking to Instagram, Vaishnavi Gowda and Anukool shared a series of heartwarming snapshots from the celebration.

One of the standout moments captured in the pictures was Anukool shielding Vaishnavi from the rain with an umbrella, creating a scene straight out of a romantic film.

For the occasion, Vaishnavi looked ethereal in an ivory lehenga paired with elegant polki jewellery, while her fiancé Anukool complemented her in a classic white sherwani.

The couple’s chemistry was on full display in the photos—holding hands, exchanging loving glances, and laughing together.

Another tender photo showed him planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Vaishnavi began her acting journey with the hit show Devi on Zee Kannada and soon became a household name with roles in shows like Agnisakshi and Seetharama.

Her stint on Bigg Boss Kannada 8, hosted by Kiccha Sudeep, further boosted her popularity, even though her journey in the house ended before the finale.
