Sonam Kapoor Puts On Saree And Overcoat For UK PM Rishi Sunak's Reception

For the celebration of UK India Week on Wednesday, Sonam Kapoor made sure she was all set to attend the reception at 10 Downing Street.

She gave her look an English touch by adding a white overcoat, which was fashioned by her sister Rhea Kapoor.

“Representing in @rohitbalofficial for the reception at 10 Downing Street to celebrate UK India week. What a beautiful day and so happy I got to wear a sari in the gorgeous London summer,” Sonam wrote on Instagram.

On Instagram, Sonam Kapoor shared a few pictures of herself wearing the outfit she picked out for the day.

The reception was held in 10 Downing Street, the official residence of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and it was a part of UK-India Week.

UK-India Week, the premier event of the India Global Forum, is held in London from June 26–30.

Recently, the teaser for Sonam's comeback movie, Blind, was released. It tells the tale of a cop who, despite having impaired vision, hunts a serial killer.

The movie, a Bollywood adaptation of the eponymous Korean crime thriller, will start streaming on Jio Cinema on July 7.
