Ashram Flyover Extension Opening: Smooth Travel From Noida To AIIMS, Relief For NCR Commuters

Commuting between Delhi and Noida is set to become faster by 25 minutes as Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the Ashram flyover extension on Monday.

Kejriwal while explaining how this is a relief for commuters travelling from Noida said, "Woes of people have ended, those coming from Noida can reach AIIMS (hospital) sooner after Ashram flyover extension opening." (Image Source: PTI)

He also criticised the tardy pace of work during previous years, saying 27 flyovers have been built under the rule of his Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi but only 84 flyovers were built in the last 65 years. (Image Source: PTI)

The flyover will be opened for public at 5 pm, according to a traffic advisory of Delhi Traffic Police. The 1.42-km-long six-lane flyover designed to resolve the congestion between the Noida and Ashram intersection was initially supposed to be inaugurated on February 28, but the event was postponed.
