YouTuber Gets Stuck On Mobile Tower After Climbing It To Boost Channel Views, Rescued By Police After 5-Hr Op

YouTuber identified as Nileshwar, who runs a channel called Nileshwar22. The stunt was being recorded by his partner, who stood below the tower but ran away as a crowd gathered.

A YouTuber attempting a daring stunt for online fame had to be rescued after a five-hour operation in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida. A report by NDTV says the YouTuber, identified as Nileshwar, who runs a channel called Nileshwar22, climbed a mobile tower in Greater Noida's Tigri village.

His stunt was meant to raise the number of views on his channel, which has around 8,900 subscribers. The stunt was being recorded by his partner, who stood below the tower.

Cameraman Flees As Crowd Gathers

Their activity soon started gaining attention, and local residents gathered near the scene. Noticing the huge crowd, his partner fled the area, leaving Nileshwar stranded atop the tower.

The police subsequently arrived at the scene and it took five hours of concerted effort to bring Nileshwar down. The police have urged individuals to keep away from engaging in such dangerous activities, especially for online fame.

Pune Teen Dangles From Building

The incident comes after a Pune duo attempted a similar dangerous stunt, where a woman dangled from a tall building as she held on to the hand of a man lying on its roof. Both were arrested last month. The person recording the video was described as on the run at the time.

Kerala YouTuber's Swimming Pool Inside Car

YouTuber Sanju Techy from Kerala attempted a risky stunt inspired by a Malayalam film. He lined the inside of his car with a tarpaulin sheet and filled it with water to create a swimming pool. He and his friends then went for a drive but ended up causing a traffic jam when they stopped to drain the water after it started seeping into the driver's seat and engine. 

The Motor Vehicle Department took stringent action against the popular YouTuber and his friends for violating various traffic rules. The registration certificate of the vehicle was also suspended, PTI reported. The licence of the person who was driving the car has been suspended for one year.
