People who keep pets are emotionally attached to them and treat them as one of their family members. Videos depicting such love are often shared on the internet that become huge hit with social media users. Some owners even go out of their way to show their love for their pets. In a video that has gone viral, a family from Jharkhand is seen celebrating their pet dog’s birthday with great pomp and show.
The party held in Loyabad area of Jharkhand’s Dhanbad for the pet dog Aksar was attended by close to 350 guests who were invited through printed invitation cards. The birthday boy was dressed in a suit worth Rs 4,500, according to Indiatimes.
The guests also brought gifts for him, including three gold lockets. An aarti was also performed before the cake-cutting ceremony to bless the pet dog of Sumitra Kumari and Sandeep Kumari.
In the viral video shared on Twitter, the owner is seen holding the dog that is wearing a birthday suit as guests shower it with love and give presents.. A cake is also kept on the table as part of the celebrations.
Since being shared on the micro-blogging site, the clip has garnered over 212k views and over 4,000 likes.
