Husband Forgets Wife After Pee Break On Road Trip, Forces Her To Walk 20 Km

After walking for about 20km (approximately 12.4 miles) she reached the Kabin Buri district at 5 am and contacted the police.

Husbands have a reputation of forgetting things. Whether it is a birthday or an anniversary they usually miss the dates. But a husband from Thailand made a mistake that can not be forgotten. He accidentally left his wife behind during a pee stop on Christmas Day, which forced her to walk over 12 miles (20km) to seek help, reported the New York Post.

The incident happened when, Boontom Chaimoon, 55, and his wife, Amnuay Chaimoon, 49, embarked on a road trip at 3 a.m. Sunday to spend the New Year in her hometown in the Maha Sarakham Province.

After travelling some distance the husband expressed the urge to urinate and stopped his car by the side of the road. His wife questioned him as to why they did not stop at a gas station to which she did not receieve a reply and hence decided to relieve herself in the jungle, reported the New York Post.

Her hubby apparently was unaware that his wife has also got down of the car to relieve herself.

When Amnuay returned, her husband had already driven off, leaving her stranded in the dark. Though scared, the wife decided to walk for help. After walking for about 20km (approximately 12.4 miles) she reached the Kabin Buri district at 5 am and contacted the police for help.

Her ordeal did not end here as she did not know her husband’s number and had reportedly left her own phone inside a bag in the car.

It wasn’t until 8 am that authorities finally managed to contact her soulmate, who by that time had driven all the way to Korat province, 159.6 km (100 miles) away.
