Diban Deka, BJP Kisan Morcha's former national executive member, was earlier arrested in October 2020 over his alleged involvement in the Assam Police recruitment exam paper leak scam. Deka was expelled by the party immediately after the arrest. The former BJP leader was released from jail recently, PTI reported.
