Asser Malik, Malala Yousafzai's husband is a 'General Manager High Performance’ at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He has been associated with the sports industry for a long time.
Education activist Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel laureate in the world, took to social media Monday night to announce her wedding. The 24-year-old posted photos from the nikah ceremony soon after tying the knot with Asser Malik in central England’s Birmingham.
While Malala and Asser are said to jabe known each other for long a time, not much was known about him until now.
Asser Malik is an official at the Pakistan Cricket Board, according to media reports. He is a 'General Manager High Performance’ at the PCB, and has been associated with the sports industry for a long time. He completed his graduation in economics and political science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
He is also said to have worked with brands such as Coca Cola.
A report by Hollywood Life claims that Malala and Asser have known each other since 2019. Asser had posted a photo with Malala in 2019, alongside Younis Khan, Pakistan's former pacer, at the Lord's Cricket Ground.

Malala Yousafzai had survived an assassination attempt at the age of 15. She was shot in the head by the Pakistani Taliban for advocating girls’ education in her native region of Mingora in the Swat Valley of northern Pakistan.
