Kabul: The Taliban’s claim to have taken control of all districts in Panjshir province has been denied by the resistance forces, as per a media report on Sunday.

“The Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate are actively present in all areas and districts of Panjshir. All the areas are under the control of the Mujahideen. They only faced resistance in Bazarak in the center of Panjshir,” he said, TOLOnews reported.
The Taliban also claimed that heavy equipment of the resistance forces has fallen.
Maulvi Sakhi Dad Mujmar, one of the Taliban commanders, said “several cannons were seized from the enemy”.
The Resistance Front has, however, rubbished the Taliban’s claim and said they have retaken Paryan district from Taliban forces.
Resistance Front spokesperson Fahim Dashti said that at least a thousand terrorists were trapped as their entrance and exit ways were closed.
“Panjshir’s Paryan has been completely cleared of Taliban. At least, '1,000 terrorists' were stuck as their entrance and exit ways were closed. All the aggressors were arrested or killed by the local people with support from the resistance forces while they were fleeing. A big number of those arrested are foreigners and most of them are specifically Pakistanis,” he tweeted.
A number of religious scholars at a gathering in Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday asked the Taliban and the Resistance Front to halt the current conflict, calling it an illegitimate war in the country, TOLOnews reported.
