Washington: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said three US citizens jailed in North Korea have been released and are on their way back to the US. As per the reports, America's top diplomat Mike Pompeo held meetings with senior North Korean officials in Pyongyang , with speculation swirling around the fate of three US detainees ahead of a planned US-North Korea summit. This was Pompeo’s second visit to N Korea and it was his first after becoming the secretary of state. Weeks ago he had been to N Korea in a similar unannounced fashion. Meanwhile Trump has said that the dates and venue for Kim Jong and Trump’s meet have already been set. "I am pleased to inform you that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the air and on his way back from North Korea with the 3 wonderful gentlemen that everyone is looking so forward to meeting. They seem to be in good health," Trump tweeted. "Secretary Pompeo and his 'guests' will be landing at Andrews Air Force Base at 2 a.m. I will be there to greet them. Very exciting."
