‘Tu Zinda Rahygi...’: Bilawal Changes Twitter DP To Benazir, Nawab Bugti After Musharraf Death
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari updated his Twitter profile picture with his mother Benazir Bhutto and Nawab Akbar Bugti photo, in whose murder former President Musharraf was accused.
After Pakistan's former president General Pervez Musharraf's death was confirmed on Sunday, the country's foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari updated his Twitter profile picture with a photograph of his late mother Benazir Bhutto, and Nawab Akbar Bugti, in whose murder the former military ruler was accused.
Musharraf, the architect of the Kargil War in 1999, breathed his last while in exile in UAE at the age of 79 after a prolonged illness.
Bilawal, who is also chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, the party once led by Benazir Bhutto, shared several pictures of his mother with the caption: "Tu zinda rahygi Benazir" (You will live, Benazir).
Bilawal’s sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also shared the pictures on her Twitter, and the photographs mention a short poem seeking justice for Benazir.
In December 2007, Former prime minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto Benazir was killed in a gun-grenade attack during an election rally in Rawalpindi.

The incident happened after she urged Musharraf to provide greater security, including tinted windows, jammers, private guards, and additional police vehicles. However, Musharraf denied more security at that time, as per a report by the news agency PTI.
Nawab Akbar Bugti, the former junior interior minister and Governor of Balochistan including two dozen of his tribesmen were killed after a military operation was launched on the orders of Musharraf in 2006. The operation triggered unrest in the area and a surge in the Baloch nationalist sentiment in the troubled province.
In March 2013, Musharraf came back to Pakistan after living in self-exile for almost five years to contest polls. The President was pulled to court in several cases including the 2007 assassination of Benazir Bhutto and the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti.
