Chinese man trying to get fresh air opens emergency door of plane, arrested

As per the reports, the man has been detained for 15 days.

New Delhi: A Chinese passenger opened the emergency exit of a plane right before the take-off creating last minute panic in the flight. As per the reports, the man has been detained for 15 days and a fine of ¥ 70,000 which is equal to ($11,000 USD) is likely to be imposed on him. The bizarre incident took place when the passenger who was feeling very hot inside, decided to open a window. However in a twist, the entire wall collapsed and an emergency slide was deployed. The incident immediately caught the attention of the plane authorities and a mishap was prevented. As per the media reports the man told the police that he wasn’t aware that the handle was a part of emergency exit door. The 25 year-old youth named Chen, reportedly said that it was so ‘stuffy’, so hot on the plane, so he just pushed down the handle beside him. He said that even he panicked when the door fell out.
