China's Conspiracy Busted; Was Spying On Indian VIPs Including Presidents, PMs & CMs Since A Decade

After the Galwan Valley incident where at least 20 brave soldiers martyred during cross-border firing, India has been taking strict actions against neighboring China. The country has cut down contracts and tenders with several Chinese companies and even put a ban on various China-based mobile applications on the security and data leaking grounds. While the senior army officials and diplomats are striving to resolve the border dispute, it has been reported that the Dragon country through various websites and firms had been tracking some eminent personalities, politicians, and leaders of India. An English daily in its report revealed that Indian political leaders, defence personnel were being tracked by the Chinese for a decade. As per the information, to date five former Prime Ministers, 24 former Chief Ministers, and 350 parliamentarians were being spied upon by the neighbouring country. As many as 700 leaders from several political parties in India were tracked by the Chinese firms. In addition to these, 70 mayors, deputy mayors were being spied upon by China. According to the government sources, late Indian Presidents Pranab Mukherjee and APJ Abdul Kalam; former PM Manmohan Singh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Rajiv Gandhi, and PV Narasimha Rao; Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee among many others were being followed and tracked by the various Chinese firms. The official sources aware of the development have stated that a "huge amount of analytics done by the Chinese companies prove that it was not possible without the support of the Chinese government." It is worth mentioning that over the past few weeks, the Indian government has launched three digital strikes against China by putting a ban on over 200 China-based mobile applications. India has banned altogether 224 Chinese apps so far including popular ones like TikTok, PUBG, WeChat, and UC Browser which had a huge user base in India. The first digital strike by India was done in the wake of the June 15 clash in which as many as 20 Indian soldiers were killed in the Galwan Valley. After several days of standoff, India in June end banned the first 59 apps of China including TikTok and We Chat. A month later India added 47 more Chinese apps to the list.
