New Delhi: A message is going viral on the social media that Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has helped 20 of his family members enter politics by using his clout in the party. The message has a list of 19 names. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s name features on the top. It is said he was an MP. This is true as Mulayam is MP from Azamgarh. Son Akhilesh Yadav is UP CM. Brother Ramgopal Yadav is MP, daughter in law Dimple Yadav is also an MP. Cousin Ram Gopal Yadav is Samajwadi Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP. The message also lists Mulayam’s brother Shivpal Singh Yadav as MLA and minister in UP government. This is true. Mulayam’s nephew and grandson’s names are also in the list. ABP News investigation reveals nephew Akshay Yadav is MP from Firozabad. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s nephew Dharmendra Yadav is MP from Badaun. Mulayam’s grandson Tej Pratap Yadav is MP from Mainpuri. Tej Pratap is married to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter. Mulayam’s younger brother Rajpal Yadav’s elder son Anshul Yadav was elected Etawah’s ‘nagar panchayat’ president. Niece Sandya Yadav is panchayat chief in Mainpuri. Tejpratap’s mother is block chief in Saifai. Mulayam’s sister-in-law Premlata Yadav is Jila Panchayat member. Sister in law Sarla Yadav is Jila Sahkari Bank director. The viral message turned out to be true. Here is the video:
