Hearing the case today, additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana directed the police not to take any coercive action against. The court extended his anticipatory bail till March 9 and hence, the police can not arrest the accused till March 9 now.

While appearing before the court, Shantanu's counsel said that they have not received the reply of Delhi Police and hence need seven more days. The lawyer also said that the accused is cooperating with the investigations and is present as and when required by the police for interrogation.

According to the reports, Shantanu's anticipatory bail plea will now be heard next on March 9 in Patiala House Court.

According to the Delhi police, Shantanu and Mumbai-based lawyer Nikita Jacob along with Disha Ravi, an activist from Bengaluru, were allegedly involved in preparing the document and were in direct touch with "pro-Khalistani elements". Delhi Police also alleged that Ravi along with Jacob and Shantanu had created the toolkit and shared it with others to tarnish India's image.
