The trailer of the film The Accidental Prime Minister, based on the book written by Sanjay Baru ,has been released and is one of the most anticipated films of the next year.

New Delhi: The trailer of the most anticipated film of 2019 ‘The Accidental Prime Minister,  based on the book written by Sanjay Baru, has been released and has triggered a blizzard of reactions on micro-blogging website Twitter. The hashtag #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister is also trending on the portal. In the movie, veteran actor Anupam Kher is playing former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Some of the punch lines from the trailer have also given rise to a variety of memes and jokes on social media. The film is set during the time when Manmohan Singh was the prime minister and highlights the turn of events around him in the ten-year-of his premiership. While there was a large section which showed eagerness to watch the movie, a section of Tweeple could not help poking fun at it.
