PM Modi wishes the countrymen on 72nd Independence Day

At 7:30 am PM would hoist the national flag.

New Delhi: As Nation celebrates its 72nd Independence day on Wednesday, August 15; Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his Twitter and wished the entire nation a Happy Independence Day. “Independence Day greetings to the people of India. Jai Hind.” PM said. The wishes came from PM just ahead of his 5th speech from Red Fort, which is set to begin at 7:33 am. Before the speech, he would visit Rajghat to pay his tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at 7:08am; post which he would reach the red fort at 7:15am, where he would received a Guard of Honour. At 7:30 am PM would furl the national flag and at 7:33am he would finally begin his speech. The length of PM Modi’s speech is yet to be known, though last year the speech lasted for 58 minutes. Special and tight security arrangements have been made at Red Fort for everyone who would come for PM’s speech.
