Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai Tests Covid Positive
Earlier today, Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also tested Covid-19 positive.
New Delhi: Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday.
In a tweet, the CM stated that he is experiencing mild symptoms of the viral disease.
“I have tested positive for COVID -19 today with mild symptoms. My health is fine, I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested,” Basavaraj Bommai tweeted.

Bihar CM & Union Defence Minister Tested Covid Positive
Earlier today, Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also tested covid-19 positive.
On the advice of doctors, Nitish Kumar has isolated himself at his home, his office informed on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Union Defence Minister said in a tweet that he had "minimal symptoms" and is under home quarantine.
Covid-19 Cases in Karnataka
Karnataka registered 11,698 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases to more than 61,000. On Monday, four individuals died as a result of the virus in the state.
