Indian Railways To Run Special Trains During Winters On Select Northern Routes — Check Entire List

Railways have cancelled several trains due to cold and fog. Now the railways have decided to run special trains in place of cancelled trains.

Railway News: With the onset of winters, the operations of the Indian Railways have been affected. Indian Railways has cancelled several trains from December 1 to March 3. Railways have decided to run special trains to compensate for the losses caused by cancelled trains. Till further orders from Railways, the following trains will be in operation: 01033-01034 Pune-Darbhanga Festival Special, 014007-014008 Lucknow-Pune, 02107-02108 Lucknow-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, 02165-02166 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Special, 01079-01080 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Special, 01115-01116 Gorakhpur-Pune and 020299-020100 Lucknow-Pune Special. 12103 Pune-Lucknow Express and 12104 Lucknow-Pune Express from Lucknow on Wednesday will run till further orders.

12 special trains to run from Gorakhpur to Hyderabad
Special trains will be running from Gorakhpur to Hyderabad from December 12 to January 2. Train No. 02576-02575 Gorakhpur-Hyderabad Special Train will be operated for four rounds. 02576 Gorakhpur-Hyderabad Special will run every Sunday from December 12 to January 2. 02575 Hyderabad-Gorakhpur Special will run from December 10 to 31 .

Tour of the Andaman in January by IRCTC
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation will arrange a special tour for the Andaman Island in the coming months. IRCTC launched the Andaman holiday package on Thursday. The Air Tour Package of the Andaman will be for six days and five nights. The trip will start from Lucknow on January 12. The package will include a tour of Kalighat Temple and Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, the historical Cellular Jail at Port Blair, Corbyn's Cove Beach, Radhanagar Beach, Kala Pathar beach in Havelock and Baratang Island.
