'Why So Much Of Fear': Rahul Gandhi's Fierce Attack On PM Modi After EPFO Investment In Adani Group
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also fired salvo at the PM Modi over the issue saying Modi was on a mission to save friends.
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday trained guns against Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying after LIC and SBI, EPFO capital too is being given to Adani and asked why there has been no investigation into the investment of people's retirement fund in the Adani group even after various allegations were levelled against the firm.
Taking to Twitter, the Congress leader said, “ "LIC's capital, to Adani! SBI's capital, to Adani! EPFO's capital too, to Adani! Why is the public's retirement money being invested in Adani's companies even after 'Modani' is exposed?"
"Mr prime minister, no investigation, no answer! Why so much of fear," he asked in a tweet in Hindi.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also fired salvo at the PM Modi over the issue saying Modi was on a mission to save friends.
“Under the supervision of Modi ji, SBI's money to Adani. Adani invested public money in LIC. Adani gets the hard earned money of the employees deposited in the Provident Fund,” she tweeted.
“But, won't get the corruption, Adani's fake companies investigated,” she said.

“Prime Minister is on a mission to save friends, we have to unite and save the country,” Priyanka added.
The Opposition, including Rahul Gandhi, has been protesting against the Adani group after US-based short seller Hindenburg Research made a litany of allegations, including fraudulent transactions and share-price manipulation, last month. The Opposition parties have been demanding the constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe into the allegations.
Rahul has alleged that his disqualification from the Lok Sabha was due to him raising questions on the Adani issue, but asserted that he will continue to do so even if he is disqualified from Parliament for life.
