'We Helped Each Other In Struggle Of...': China Extends Wishes To India On Independence Day
Congratulating India on its 77th Independence Day, China said that both countries have helped each other in the struggle for national liberation and independence.
New Delhi: China On Tuesday congratulated India as it marked its 77th Independence Day and said that both countries have helped each other in the struggle for national liberation and independence.
In a Twitter post, the Chinese embassy expressed the hope for the two largest developing countries to come together to promote common development and prosperity in the future.
Congratulations to all Indian friends on #IndependenceDay2023. China and India helped each other in the struggle for national liberation and independence. May the two largest developing countries join hands to promote common development and prosperity in the days ahead.

"Your country has achieved universally acknowledged success in economic, scientific and technical, social and other fields. India enjoys well-earned respect in the world arena and plays important constructive role in the international affairs," the message read.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron reshared a month-old post on X (formerly Twitter) when PM Modi visited Paris and congratulated India on its 77th Independence Day.
"Congratulations to the Indian people on your Independence Day! A month ago in Paris, my friend @narendramodi and I set new Indo-French ambitions all the way to 2047, the centenary year of India’s Independence. India can count on France as a trusted friend and partner, always," he tweeted.
