Bengal Polls: Former Cricketer & BJP Candidate Ashok Dinda Attacked By Goons In East Midnapore

37-year old is contesting the elections as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Moyna constituency.

Moyna: Former cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from West Bengal's East Midnapore Ashok Dinda was attacked by a mob on Tuesday in Moyna district. As per reports, the incident took place when Dinda was campaigning for the ongoing assembly elections in the state. 

It also being said that the former pacer has sustained injuries on his back. It is being said that a mob of around 50 people pelted stones on the car in which Dinda was traveling. 

37-year old is contesting the elections as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Moina constituency.

The West Bengal BJP has accused ruling Trinamool Congress (TKMC) workers of carrying out the attack on Dinda.
