CCD employee slaps customer for finding 'cockroaches' in fridge, video goes viral

NEW DELHI: In a video that is being widely shared on social media, a female staff member at a Cafe Coffee Day outlet in Jaipur is seen slapping a customer after he tried recording cockroaches present inside store's fridge. The Twitter post was first shared on March 25 by a twitter user Nikil Ananad with a statement by the customer Arpan Verma attached to it.

"I started recording the abysmal state of hygiene wherein the cockroaches and other bugs present in the fridge were captured in the video and also depicted the employees who did not pay any heed to the request [sic]", Arpan wrote. In the video, customer is seen pointing to the fridge and recording 'cockroaches' present in the refrigerated counter of the outlet.

While he was doing that, one of the employee is seen walking up to the customer and slapping him. The video has been retweeted over 1,700 times.
