Shatrughan Sinha's Big Statement On Mumbai Drugs Case, Says NCB Targeting Artists To Divert Attention

Shatrughan Sinha said that the people of the country felt that Aryan Khan was framed only for being Shah Rukh Khan's son, this is not correct. The matter should have been based on the facts.

Patna: Bollywood actor and senior Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha on Friday interacted with ABP News. During this, he made allegations against NCB. At the same time, he hinted that the allegations made by Minister Nawab Malik were right, and demanded an investigation.

On the question of why the entire process of questioning and investigating Bollywood actors and actresses by NCB looks mirky, he said that NCB feels that the film fraternity is a whipping horse. Targeting them, or showing them in a bad light, is an easier way of diverting attention ."

People from the party are involved.

He said, "Apart from the Central Agency, some people from the Centre and some people in the party seem to be involved in the matter. No such thing has been proved against any artist yet. To put it in a filmy way, the whole matter that has unfolded has no substance. This has often happened with famous people and their children. An attempt was made to implicate them. But in Aryan Khan's case, the lawyers made a very good argument. Mukul Rohatgi did wonders."

On the issue of naming the people of the centre, he said that it should be investigated. But the way some people from the other party were clicking selfies and making them viral, or those who were involved in the arrest, or those who helped are themselves absconding today. Regarding the allegation against IPS Sameer Wankhede, Shatrughan Sinha said that if there is an allegation there should be an investigation. You cannot refute the charge without investigation. You can't say that's wrong. If you are wrong you will be punished, but prove it first."

Supreme Court's decision blew everyone's senses.

Shatrughan Sinha said, "There was an attempt to hide the facts in the Pegasus case. But the Supreme Court's decision blew everyone's senses. Similarly, the people of the country realized that Aryan Khan, was framed only for being Shah Rukh Khan's son, it is not right. The matter should have been based on the facts."

Things should be taken seriously.

At the same time, in relation to the allegation by Minister Nawab Malik about Kasif Khan, Fashion TV's India Head and IPS Sameer Wankhede, he said, "I respect him a lot, he is a very senior man." He is also saying that he won't alter his words. So when a person says that he is firm about his statements, I think his words should be taken seriously. There should be a proper investigation. I'm not accusing anyone at the moment. Since Nawab Malik is a senior leader, I think his allegations should be investigated. When others make allegations, they are right, but when Nawab Malik makes allegations, he is wrong even when he is the Cabinet Minister.

Shatrughan Sinha said, "We should not forget that the allegations made by Nawab Malik have been supported by respectable and dignified people of the country. So there should be an inquiry. The truth will be out. Truth will prevail, those who are guilty will be punished."
