New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted interim relief to Mukhtar Ansari’s son Abbas Ansari in an arms act case, as reported by the news agency ANI. The apex court also directed the Uttar Pradesh Police not to take any further steps against him till further orders.

The Supreme Court has issued notice to the UP government based on Ansari’s plea.
