RJD's Tej Pratap Yadav Claims His FB Page Was 'Hacked' After ‘Love Confession’ Post Goes Viral

Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tej Pratap said that the post was not shared by him and that there was an attempt to "defame and harass" him and his family members.

Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday was caught up in a social media storm after a post on his social media account on Facebook claimed that he was "in a relationship" with a young woman for 12 years. However, Tej Pratap, the elder son of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has now claimed his page had been "hacked".

He said the viral post was not shared by him and that there was an attempt to "defame and harass" him and his family members. "My social media platform was hacked and my photographs were edited wrongfully," Yadav wrote on X.

Tej Pratap's 'Love Confession' Post

The Facebook post that has since been deleted consisted of an image of Yadav with a woman. It was captioned: "The one seen in this picture is Anushka Yadav. We have been known to each other for the last 12 years. We are in love and have been in a relationship for 12 years".

"I have been wanting to share this with you for a long time.....therefore, I am revealing it before you all. I hope you will be able to understand me," the post read further.

The post did not go down well with social media users, many of whom reminded the 37-year-old politician of his marriage that took place in 2018.

Yadav had tied the knot with the grand-daughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Rai. However, Aishwarya left his house within a few months, alleging that she was driven out by her husband and in-laws. Her father Chandrika Roy, a former minister himself, quit the RJD at the time, vowing to fight his daughter's battle "politically and legally".

It remains unknown whether a police complaint has been filed by Yadav about the post and "hacked" Facebook page. He has also urged his supporters and followers to be on their guard and "pay no heed to any rumours".
