Repeal Of Farm Laws Has Ended 'Evil Intentions' Of 'Anti-National & Separatist Forces': RSS Affiliate

Mahajan also claimed that 'Khalistani' and 'Naxal' forces were furthering their 'agenda' in the garb of the protest. Repeal of the laws has put an end to their 'evil intentions'.

New Delhi: The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) which is one of the many affiliate organisations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has welcomed the move to repeal the three controversial farm laws.

Although, he has made another point saying that this move will put an end to the "agenda" of "Khalistani" and "separatist forces".

SJM chief Ashwani Mahajan has said that the move will put an end to the "evil intentions" of "anti-national and separatist forces". While talking to news agency ANI, Mahajan said that the government was ready to amend the laws and it had passed them with "good intentions".

"If any law is made, there are some shortcomings in it, we can improve it too. The shortcomings were also pointed out by the farmers," said Mr Mahajan.

"When the talks with the farmers were being held, all the changes that the Swadeshi Jagran Manch had suggested after talking with the farmers, the government had agreed to accept those suggestions. However, the farmers were persistent that these laws should be withdrawn," he said.

Mahajan also said that there were Khalistan flags that were raised at the protest, also, 'naxalism had become active'. These 'forces' took advantage of the protest, he said.

"With this move, the separatist forces were also defeated because the agenda they had is now over," Mahajan. concluded.
