PM Modi extended wishes to the nation on the commencement of the month of Ramzan. During Ramzan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and shun worldly pleasures.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended wishes to the nation on the commencement of the month of Ramzan. PM Modi took to Twitter and shared a post with a caption, "Best wishes on the start of Ramzan". Ramzan, which is considered to be the holiest month in the religion of Islam, has arrived. It marks the beginning of the month-long fasting period.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also extended greetings on the commencemnt of the month of Ramzan. Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal wrote, "Happy Ramadan to all of you. May this holy month of worship bring lots of happiness and progress in your life."

US President Joe Biden also sent his wishes to all the Muslims worldwide who begin the Islamic holy month of Ramzan - a time of fasting, renewal, charity, worship, and growth. “To my fellow Americans observing Ramadan, and to Muslims around the world: Ramadan Kareem- we wish you a blessed and peaceful Ramadan,” President Biden and First Lady Dr Jill Biden said in a statement on Wednesday. The statement said that the US reaffirms its support for Muslim communities suffering hardships and devastation during this sacred time of reflection.
