Rafale verdict: 'Will prove it that PM is Anil Ambani's friend and he helped him steal' says Rahul Gandhi

The BJP on the other hand hit out at Gandhi saying that he doesn’t have faith in the constitution.

New Delhi: Soon after Supreme Court gave a clean-chit to Modi government over the Rafale deal, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday claimed that he will prove it that irregularities took place in the deal. While addressing a press conference, Rahul Gandhi said “The entire country believes that chowkidaar (guard) is a thief. We will prove it that Indian PM is Anil Ambani’s friend and he helped Anil Ambani steal.” He further said that “How can it be possible that the foundation of SC judgement saying that pricing has been discussed in CAG report. ...PAC chairman (M Kharge) is sitting here, how come he never saw it? No one in PAC ever saw it. But Supreme Court saw it”. “Govt will have to explain to us where the CAG report is. Show it to PAC chairman Kharge ji. Maybe a different PAC is running parallelly, maybe in a different Parliament, maybe in Parliament of France. It's possible Modi ji has constituted his own PAC in PMO” he added. The BJP on the other hand hit out at Gandhi saying that he doesn’t have faith in the constitution. Home Minister Rajnath also sought an apology from Gandhi while addressing the lower house of the parliament saying “Rahul Gandhi has misled the people of the country and he must seek an apology”.
