New Delhi: Gearing up for the UP Assembly elections 2022, Congress Party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has announced that the party will be preparing a separate manifesto for women. In the manifesto, the Congress party claims that on forming the next state government in UP, it will provide 3 filled gas cylinders annually at free of cost.
While highlighting the struggles of women in UP, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Monday tweeted, "My dear sisters of UP, Your every day is full of struggles. Understanding that the Congress party has prepared a separate women's manifesto for you. On the formation of Congress party government 3 cylinders filled annually will be given free of cost. Free travel for women in state government buses."

Priyanka further claimed that 40% of the total election tickets will be given to women candidates. The announcement of giving 40% of the tickets to women was made earlier by Congress in October 2021.
