Pratyusha, Rahul and a common friend partied till late night before she ended her life

Mumbai: Pratyusha Banerjee, Rahul Raj Singh and one of their common friends had partied late night and consumed alcohol before the 'Balika Vadhu' fame actress allegedly hanged herself to death, sources said. In the morning, Singh also went to drop that common female friend to Church, sources added. Mumbai police on Saturday summoned television actor Rahul Raj Singh for questioning in connection with the actress' alleged suicide . However, Rahul raj refrained from answering questions posed by the media over banerjee's suicide. "I will speak when the time will come," Singh said. Singh's statement was recorded till late in the evening at Bangurnagar police station. Police searched Pratyusha's house and found two mobile phones. "We will analyse last call details and the SMSes exchanged between the two (Pratyusha and her boyfriend)," the official said, adding the probe so far had not found anything pointing to abetment of suicide by Singh. Pratyusha Banerjee’s death – she was found hanging on Friday in her Andheri apartment – has triggered a series of questions surrounding responsibility for her passing at the age of 24.
