Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: PM Modi To Inaugurate Sohna-Dausa Stretch On February 4, Delhi-Jaipur Drive To Take 2 Hours
The expressway is expected to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to around two hours.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 4. The foundation stone of the expressway was laid in March 2019.
The expressway is expected to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to around two hours. Currently, it takes around 4-5 hours to reach Jaipur from Delhi via Gurgaon, covering 250 km in distance.

PM Modi will be accompanied by union minister of road and transport Nitin Gadkari.
On the same day after the inauguration, the PM will also attend a programme and address a gathering of the Meena community at Meena high court in Nangal Pyariwas sub-district.
This will be Modi's second visit to Rajasthan in one week. Earlier, on January 28, PM attended the birth anniversary of Devnarayan, a folk deity revered by the Gurjars at Malesari village in Bhilwara district.
Earlier on January 27, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari said that the inauguration of the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will take place by the end of January, and the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur would come down to around two hours.
