PM Modi Will Hand Over Cheques To Children Who Were Orphaned During Pandemic On May 30

Singh also shared that the party will be celebrating its eight years of tenure for the whole month starting May 30 and ending June 14.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over the cheques to children who were orphaned by the covid-19 pandemic and announce a scholarship for them on May 30. The information about the event was shared by Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Arun Singh on Saturday. The event is a part of the BJP’s celebration of eight years in power. The cheques would be handed over using the PM-CARES fund, which was collected by the government during the first wave of the pandemic.

Singh also shared that the party will be celebrating its eight years of tenure for the whole month starting May 30 and ending June 14.

Marking the eighth anniversary of the BJP, 75 hours of outreach programme will be organised. As a part of this campaign, all Union ministers, ministers in the BJP-led state governments, and elected representatives will take part and visit villages, he said.

During the press conference, Singh also hailed PM Modi as a “reliable, popular, decisive, sacrificing and ascetic leader,” and said that the entire nation is standing with him.
While responding to a question, Singh said that the Modi government works on the principle of "sabka saath, sabka vikas aur sabka vishwas (With all, development for all and everyone's trust) and therefore its welfare schemes don't differentiate among people''.

“The PM is also slated to interact with the beneficiaries of 16 schemes and programmes spanning as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Shimla on May 31, according to a release released by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
