PM Modi greets nation on Eid-ul-Fitr. Read and listen to his message
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a visit to the US greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He hoped the occasion extended the spirit of peace and brotherhood in the society.
"Eid-ul-Fitr greetings! May this auspicious day further the spirit of peace and brotherhood in our society," Modi said in a tweet here on Sunday night.
“The holy month of Ramzan was celebrated with devotion. Now it is time for Eid. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, my best wishes to all,” PM had said in his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday. Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks culmination of the fasting month of Ramadan, is being celebrated today across the world.
