PM Modi EXCLUSIVE: 'Some people use insecurity of Muslims in an attempt to grasp votes' says Modi

PM further said “My mantra is sabka sath sabka vias; and I aim that by 2022, each and every family in this country will get a shelter to live. There will be electricity in every in every house, be it Hindu or Muslim”.

New Delhi: In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the ‘insecurities of the Muslim population’ of the country and said that, he doesn’t believe in doing anything for Hindus or Muslims specifically, instead he believes in doing things for the countrymen. Answering a question where he was asked that ‘Do you think that the Muslim population of the country doesn’t feel wanted and accepted’, PM Modi said “During Manmohan Singh’s tenure as Prime Minister, a Sachhar Committee was formed, who came to Gujarat where I was the Chief Minister and asked me what did my government do for Muslims; to which I responded that my government didn’t do anything for Muslims and nor will it do anything in future; infact my government didn’t do anything for Muslims either; because my government works for the welfare of the people in general”. PM further said “My mantra is sabka sath sabka vias; and I aim that by 2022, each and every family in this country will get a shelter to live. There will be electricity in every in every house, be it Hindu or Muslim”. PM asserted that “There is no place for religion in my government”. Commenting further on Congress’ jibes at the government over allegedly prioritising Hindus over Muslims; PM said “Some people use the insecurity of Muslims in an attempt to grasp votes”.
