PDP leader warns of ‘bad results’ of killing ‘Muslims’ in the name of cow protection
The statement by former BJP ally comes only days after death of Akbar alias Rakbar Khan, who was killed by a group of people in Ramgarh area of Alwar when, along with his friend he was taking two cows to his village in Haryana.
Srinagar: Amid nation-wide debate on lynching in the name of cow protection, PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig on Saturday threatened to stop killing ‘Muslims’ in the name of cow and buffalo protection.
Baig further asserted that the country has already been divided once in 1947, therefore attempts to divide it further should not be made.
“Gai aur bhains ke naam par musalmano ka katal bandh karein warna naateje achhe nahi honge”. (Stop killing Muslims in the name of cow and Buffalo protection, otherwise the results won’t be good) he said.
