No rift within the party; Gayatri Prajapati to be reinstated as UP Minister: Mulayam

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday told party workers in Lucknow office that "there is no rift within the party." Breaking his silence on Akhilesh- Shivpal feud, Mulayam said, “There can be no division in the party, till I am here. All Samajwadis are together." “We have a big family, differences can occur. We have to focus on again forming the government,” he added amid slogans being raised in favour of CM Akhilesh Yadav.
Mulayam also defended sacked minister Gayatri Prajapati, indicating he will be taken back in the Akhilesh Cabinet and be reinstated as mining minister in the state. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday had sacked Prajapati over allegations of corruption. Earlier during the day, SP leader Shivpal Yadav who resigned from party and cabinet posts told his supporters that he was with party supremo Mulayam. He is likely to get back all the post, Sources have told ABP News on the new compromising formula.
