The application process for the NEET-PG 2021 Round 1 counselling will start on Wednesday, January 12, and will end on January 17.

New Delhi: The NEET-PG 2021 counselling will start today, January 12, after Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had announced it on Sunday. The application process for the NEET-PG 2021 Round 1 counselling will start today and will end on January 17.

The Supreme Court in its interim order on January 7 allowed the resumption of medical counselling for NEET-PG admissions for 2021-2022. The court had also upheld the validity of 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) students and 10 per cent reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

Mandaviya tweeted that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start NEET-PG counselling from January 12, following the order of the Supreme Court. He wrote that this will give more strength to the country in the fight against Covid-19.

In order to apply for counselling, candidates must visit the following website: mcc.nic.in.

Candidates, after registration, will have to select and confirm the colleges by January 17, from the list of options available to them.
The respective institutes will do the verification of candidates from January 18 to January 19.

Once the Round 1 results are declared, the registration process for Round 2 seat allotment will begin on February 3, and end on February 7.
