Nagrota Encounter: Slain Terrorists Were Planning Big Attack On 26/11 Anniversary; PM Modi Holds High Level Review Meet
Four terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group were killed in the gunfight in Jammu's Nagrota area. They were travelling in a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, which was intercepted by the police at a toll plaza near Nagrota.
Nagrota Encounter: The terrorists who were decimated by the security forces on Thursday in Jammu and kashmir’s Nagrota encounter were planning a major terror attack on the anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. It was found out in the review meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary, and top intelligence establishment that was called over the Nagrota encounter, government sources told news agency ANI.

The slain terrorists were carrying a huge quantity of arms and ammunition, including 11 AK-47 rifles and pistols and in all probability were planning something big, perhaps "disruption of district-level elections", a top police officer said.

On Thursday soon after the encounter, Jammu and Kashmir police held a press conference and said that the DDC polls could be the target of the slain terrorists.
