Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Helps Tribal Student Realise MBBS Dream With Financial Aid

Upon learning about her plight, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy immediately assured Saishradha that his government would bear financial responsibility to help her achieve her dream of becoming a doctor.

Hyderabad news: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has once again demonstrated his commitment to supporting underprivileged students by extending financial aid to a tribal girl, Saishradha, from Jendaguda village in Jainur mandal, Kumuram Bheem district. The young student recently secured an MBBS seat but faced financial difficulties in paying her college fees due to her family's poor economic condition.

Upon learning about her plight, CM Revanth Reddy immediately assured Saishradha and her family that his government would bear the financial responsibility to help her achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. The Chief Minister emphasised that the "People's Government would stand with those in need and support students from all communities in pursuing higher education".

Expressing gratitude, Saishradha and her family thanked the Chief Minister for extending a helping hand during the challenging times.

This gesture follows a similar instance where CM Revanth Reddy had earlier provided financial assistance to another tribal student, Madhulatha Badevath. Madhulatha had been struggling with financial constraints and was herding goats despite securing admission to the prestigious IIT Patna. The Chief Minister’s intervention enabled her to continue her education without financial worries.

Madhulatha had achieved an impressive 824th rank in the JEE under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and was offered a seat in Engineering Physics at IIT Patna. However, her family, dependent on agriculture and grappling with her father’s illness, was unable to arrange the Rs 25 lakh needed for tuition and other expenses. Later, CM extended help to Madhulatha.
