Maharashtra: Two Dalit youth beaten up by 25 people allegedly for overtaking vehicle
MUMBAI: Two Dalit youth were allegedly beaten by 25 people in Beed, Maharashtra for overtaking a vehicle on Sunday. The incident took place on Friday in Savargaon village in Beed district. According to the complaint, they started beating the Dalit youths after seeing BR Ambedkar's picture on vehicle. "Accused haven't been arrested yet. We are ascertaining details," said Hari Balaji, Deputy SP, Majalgaon. Police has registered a complain under the atrocities act.
