Madhya Pradesh: Candidates marked SC,ST on their chest during police recruitment drive

The incident took place while the hospital's medical board members and police authorities were present at the spot.

Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking incident of Madhya Pradesh that has surfaced recently,the caste of the candidates who came in for recruitment as police constables, were marked on their chests. The candidates who had come for medical test process of police constable recruitment, had their chests were marked with their castes- SC, ST, OBC and General, leading to an outrage among people. This was done for their category-wise identification in the district hospital of Dhar. The incident took place while the hospital medical board members and police authorities were present at the spot. Ever since the matter has caught drift in the media, the authorities have been on an alert. Dhar Superintendent of Police, Virendra Singh said: “We have been informed that the students who came for medical test for recruitment had been marked with their castes on their chests. We have taken up the matter seriously . This should not have happened. I have instituted an investigation committee and have asked it to provide me a detailed report on the matter. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty.” Watch ABP News' full report:
