WATCH: Rahul Gandhi Meets Locals In Nagaland On Day 3 of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen meeting locals on the third of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Nagaland.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was spotted meeting the locals of Kohima in Nagaland, on Tuesday morning on the third day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The Congress leader arrived in Kohima's Khuzama village along with party colleagues and was greeted by a rousing welcome. The Yatra was flagged off on Sunday by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge from Thoubal in Manipur.

He got down of the bus to meet the people present there to greet him in Kohima. He was seen shaking hands with the locals who welcomed him with a smile on their faces.

 

The third day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra resumed on Tuesday morning at 8 am from Viswema, Kohima, Nagaland. Rahul Gandhi will pay homage at the Kohima War Cemetery before addressing the public from his bus in Phulbari in Kohima. After taking a morning break, the yatra will resume from the Rengma Sports Association Ground in Tseminyu and will halt at Chukitong, Wokha in Nagaland at night. 

He was earlier seen interacting with the people who had gathered to meet him in Sekmai, Manipur, from where he started his second day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Rahul had got down from his custom-made Volvo bus to walk some distance when he spoke to the locals present there and listened to their problems as he walked along the way.

On Sunday, the Congress leader was also witnessed sharing candid moments with a few children in the Thoubal district of Manipur, from where the yatra was flagged off. He picked them up, spoke to them, and even clicked selfies with them in a bus.

On the same day, he was spotted interacting with locals in Thoubal over a cup of tea.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra began on January 14 from Thoubal district in the violence hit state of Manipur and will culminate in Mumbai after around 67 days on March 20 or 21.
