'Just Ask Pakistan': CM Yogi Confirms India Used BrahMos Missile To Attack Pak

CM Yogi Adityanath said that through Operation Sindoor, India has given a message to the whole world. He was speaking at the inauguration of a BrahMos production unit in Lucknow.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Sunday confirmed that India used the BrahMos missile to attack Pakistan under Operation Sindoor.

"You must have seen a glimpse of the BrahMos missile during Operation Sindoor. If you didn't, then just ask the people of Pakistan about the power of the BrahMos missile," CM Adityanath said at the inauguration of a BrahMos production unit in Lucknow.

The supersonic cruise missile developed by BrahMos Aerospace, a joint venture between India's DRDO and Russia, boasts a range of 290 to 400 kilometres and can reach speeds up to Mach 2.8. It can be launched from land, sea, or air and follows a fire-and-forget guidance system.

Yogi said, "PM Narendra Modi has announced that any act of terrorism going forward will be considered an act of war. The problem of terrorism can not be solved till we don't crush it completely. To crush terrorism, we all have to fight together in one voice under PM Narendra Modi's leadership. Terrorism can never accept the language of love. It will have to be answered in its own language. Through Operation Sindoor, India has given a message to the whole world."

Rajnath Singh Inaugurates BrahMos Unit In Lucknow

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Uttar Pradesh's capital, Lucknow. Singh, who attended the event via video conference, said it was important for him to be in Delhi, looking at the situation the country was facing.

The new unit will manufacture one of the world's fastest supersonic cruise missiles, with a range of 290 to 400 km and a top speed of Mach 2.8.
